Poolewe provides all the right things for a great holiday visit - beautiful scenery, mountains including several nearby munros, Loch Maree and the Beinn Eighe nature reserve. Along the coast from Poolewe on Loch Ewe are small hamlets and crofting areas, harbours and fishing boats. The beach at Firemore near Cove is great for kids, dogs and "adults" of all ages, and is easily accessible from the main road. Also nearby is Gruinard Bay with its lovely sandy beach that stretches for what seems miles when the tide is out. Safe and reasonably warm to swim in during the summer. At Camusnagaul we have two well appointed Scottish Holiday cottages. When you are visiting Scotland on holiday the accommodation around Dundonnell make a great choice for visiting and touring around the Scottish Highlands to such places as Ullapool, Lochinver, Poolewe and Gairloch.
Each holiday cottage has central heating, a full-sized kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Disabled access is available through a ramp. There is uninterrupted views over Little Loch Broom towards the mountains surrounding the sea loch. . Sandy Beach at Mellon Udrigle.
Scotland has many wonderful waterfalls and this one is called Ardessie falls, there is a number of waterfalls and one can be seen from the roadside.

Where is Poolewe? Poolewe is on the west coast of Scotland. Poolewe and the surrounding area around Loch Ewe and Loch Maree has great scenery making it an ideal place for a holiday or weekend break in the Scottish Highlands. If you stay at Camusnagaul on holiday you can easily travel on day trips to Poolewe and Loch Ewe, or slightly further to Loch Maree and Gairloch.
